Lemonlight — Meetings (Chrome extension): privacy policy
Last updated: October 29, 2026
Lemonlight — Meetings is an internal Chrome extension for Lemonlight employees. It helps them put the right project ID (PID) on client meetings in Google Calendar and on client emails in Gmail. It works only for people signed in with a lemonlight.com Google account.
What the extension reads
- Your work email address, from your Google sign-in, so Lemonlight's server can confirm you are an employee.
- In Gmail: the subject of the email you are writing or reading, and the email addresses of the people on it.
- In Google Calendar: the title of the event you are creating and the email addresses of its guests.
- The project search box: what you type in it (a project ID, a contract number or part of a company name).
It never reads the body of an email or of a calendar event.
What it does with it
- It sends the subject or title, the outside email addresses and, when the project list below is not loaded yet or a project ID you typed is not on it, what you type in the search box to Lemonlight's own server (ops-automations.vercel.app). The server uses them only to find which Lemonlight project they belong to, by reading Lemonlight's own work systems (its project boards, its CRM and its team's calendars). It returns the project's ID, the client's name, the suggested call type, and the people from the project's last client call (or its next booked one), whom Calendar adds as guests when you pick a call type.
- Lookups are kept in the server's memory for up to 10 minutes to answer repeat clicks faster, then forgotten. They are not saved.
- To make the search box answer as you type, the extension asks the server for the list of Lemonlight's active projects (each one's project ID, client name, project name, and whether it is one of yours) and keeps it in the browser's memory for up to 10 minutes. What you type is matched against that list on your computer. The list is never saved to disk.
- The server saves one usage counter per person per day: your work email address, the date, and which button was used (for example "New meeting"). It never saves subjects, titles, client addresses or project IDs.
- On your computer, the extension stores which email threads you chose to hide the PID reminder for (kept 30 days) and which reminders were already counted today (kept until the next day). Both are one-way codes, never the subject text. It also remembers which one-time tips about new buttons you closed, until the extension is removed.
What it never does
- It never sends, saves or changes an email or event for you. You review it and click Send or Save yourself.
- It never sells or shares data with anyone outside Lemonlight, and never uses it for advertising or for anything other than the purpose above.
